Endurance, Wisdom, and Genuine Faith
Job was very wealthy (Job 1:3) yet disowns trust in gold (Job 31:24-25) and accepts loss with worship (Job 1:21). James says the rich will fade like a flower (Jas 1:10-11).
Job 24 laments oppressors who move boundary stones and leave the poor naked (Job 24:2-12); James denounces the rich who withhold wages (Jas 5:1-6).
Wealth is held in trust. Job’s restored riches are not a formula; James says God has chosen the poor to be rich in faith (Jas 2:5).
